Fluffy Fruit Bread

Instructions:
- Mix the egg, milk, melted butter, sugar, and yeast.
- Gradually add the flour until the dough reaches the right consistency.
- Knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Let it rise until it doubles in size.
- Roll out the dough, cut it into squares, and shape them into balls.
- Place them in a round baking pan and let them rise for another 10 minutes.
- Brush with beaten egg yolk mixed with a little milk.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and let it cool before serving.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 250 ml milk
- 90 g melted butter
- 100 g sugar
- 15 g dry yeast (1 packet + 5 g)
- 580 g flour (add gradually)
- Candied fruits or chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 beaten egg yolk with a little milk (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
This bread is super soft and resembles panettone, but without the characteristic aroma. 😊
